2014-08-14 083813 crippaTo coincide with the rebranding of the Crippa corporate image, Crippa Launched five brand new, world premiere machines during the Tube Dusseldorf exhibition; comprising four bending machines and one forming machine.

Furthermore, there are also two new systems,
- EASYGAUGE: a system for dimensional measuring through images
The measurement is instantaneous, thus reducing the measurement time required by traditional techniques.
-and BrainBox, for monitoring the production.

Very impressive is the software named “U.I.I”., completely produced by CRIPPA, interface man-machine that simplifies in a great manner the job of the user.

The new world beating machine solutions from Crippa are as follows:

SMALL 2R - Machine for right and left cycle bending aluminium pipes up to 20 mm in reverse configuration.
The SMALL2R is the natural evolution of the SMALL1 series. It is also available in the linear version.

The aim is to complete the range including two models able to work on different levels and radii with left and right cycle bending. It has its greatest feature in the aluminium pipe Ø20 x 1.8 mm. The machine presented at the exhibition is in reverse configuration and is also characterized by particularly easy unloading of the work piece.

The main C axis drive is placed directly behind the bending level. The locking clamp is made through a toggle-actuated electric system, while the pressure-die is a CNC axis with rack and pinion. The head moves with the typical cross motion and it is also driven by rack and pinion.

All the components have a high quality standard to ensure an overall high quality and a worldwide availability of spare parts.

955LE - Fully Electric bending machine for steel pipes up to 55 mm with right or left reconfigurable bending.

2014-08-14 083402

The 955LE is the youngest sister of 980LE made to complete the diameter range between 42 and 80. It joins and integrated the characteristics of 942LE/XE and 980LE for what we believe to be the best solutions of each model. It has its greatest characteristic in the tube Ø55 x 2.5 mm with the ability to accommodate numerous bending levels (vertical excursion as 980LE) and to guarantee multilevel bending with variable radius in the automatic cycle. The 955LE is can bend both right and left through a rapid reconfiguration carried out by the operator in a very simple and fast way.

The machine can also be equipped with a knife cutting system in the cycle (both single blade and with pre- cut) besides, of course, all the options typically implemented.

The main features of this machine are the placement of the thrust screws into the clamp drive slides and pressure-die, in this way gaining the reduction of tilting moments during working on the upper levels and their natural coverage and protection from dirt and impacts.

The head moves with the typical Crippa cross motion.

All machine movements take place on recirculating roller guides and for the closing axes screws the machine is equipped with roller recirculating screws and bigger balls. The control unit is a Siemens 840Dsl with 9 axes with control panel on a 19" touch screen.

The machine has a very low level of power consumption.

980HE - Bending machine series Heavy, fully electric for steel pipes up to 80 mm with pantograph and wide vertical amplitude.

The 980HE is the evolution of the historical 980LE and it was designed to enhance the capacity to accommodate several bending levels to carry out multi-level and multi-radius bending also with variable radius in the automatic cycle. The machine is able to accommodate a cutting knife system during the cycle (both single blade and with pre-cut).

The main features are the placement of the thrust screws for clamp and pressure-die in line with the first work level thus guaranteeing the reduction of tilting moments during working on the upper levels.

The head moves only in X-direction sliding on three pairs of recirculating roller trolleys.

The vertical lifting motion is carried out by a patented pantograph system (CNC axis), which allows to maintain a load level ergonomically accessible to the operator and at the same time to ensure a wide vertical movement of the longitudinal member (500 mm).
All machine movements are carried out on recirculating roller guides and for closure axes high-load roller recirculating screws and bigger balls are used. All components have a high quality standard to ensure a global high quality and a worldwide availability of spare parts.

114HE - Heavy series bending machine, fully electric for steel pipes up to 114 mm extremely robust with wide vertical amplitude.

The 114HE is the youngest sister of 150HE from which it receives imprinting but that is reinterpreted because of lower operating characteristics. It was created also with the purpose of being able to operate with numerous bending levels and to ensure multi-level and multi-radius bending also with variable radius in the automatic cycle. The machine is able to accommodate a cutting knife system during the cycle.

The vertical shift option for the slide allows the usage of a single slide for the different bending levels thus eliminating the collision problem that occurs in case of large diameter differences in the tooling.

Also in this case the constructive simplicity is prevailing, with a compact bending head, which moves only in X-direction sliding on pairs of recirculating roller trolleys and discharges exceptional machining efforts directly on the machine base.

S2086E - Fully electric machine QUICK series for forming in 6 steps with a deformation force of 8 tons.

It can work with both material removal and hydroforming.

It is robust, rigid and capable of performing very accurate operations. Moreover, thanks to the reduced size, it can be integrated into work islands or existing plants.

These new machines launched at the exhibition belong to the new CRIPPA range, which is divided into the following lines:

SMALL SERIES
They are fully electrical small machines for aluminium pipes up to 20 mm. They have a reduced dimension and high productivity. Fast and automatic, they can work right and left during the cycle and they are also available in the reverse configuration (upside down) to facilitate the unloading of work pieces.

LINEAR SERIES

They are robust machines for steel pipes up to 80 mm, available in both variants, fully electric and with hydraulic locking devices. They have dimensions for easy loading of work pieces. Fast and automatic, they can bend both right and left and can work both with bending former a with thrust bending.

UP&DOWN

These are double headed machines for steel pipes up to 42 mm, available in both variants, fully electric and with hydraulic locking devices. Furthermore they can accommodate several work levels. Fast and automatic, they can bend both right and left and can work both with bending former a with thrust bending. They are equipped both loading and unloading integrated systems.

SPECIAL

These machines represent the "tailor made" focus of Crippa aimed at solving customer problems with solutions designed ad Hoc. They are available in both variants, fully electric and with hydraulic locking devices and can work both with bending former a with thrust bending.

HEAVY SERIES

They are fully electric machines that can, with the same nominal size of the others, accept heavy operations and, compared to the competitors, have a lot more space to accommodate the bending levels. They are very rigid and conceptually simple. They can bend both right and left and can work both with bending former a with thrust bending.

FORMING MACHINES

Machines for the thrust deformation of the tube ends. They are available with different thrust forces, getting to a maximum of 60 tons and have the possibility to carry out up to 6 operations of progressive deformation in an automatic cycle. They are rigid, robust and able to perform very accurate operations. Thanks to their reduced dimensions they are appropriate for inclusion in work islands or existing systems. Moreover they are very easy to use and have a numeric control with up to 3 axes.
