Hypertherm system designed to significantly reduce waterjet operating costs, automated intelligence and more

Hypertherm’s new products include a system designed to significantly reduce waterjet operating costs by delivering marked labor and consumable savings for companies operating waterjet machines. In addition, Hypertherm will preview new technology designed to simplify CNC and robotic cutting through the automatic inclusion of process parameters in support of a wide range of applications. This new technology will be showcased on a new line-up of Hypertherm CNCs, which were also unveiled at this year’s show.

2015-12-07 094703Two more products making their FABTECH debut are designed to support cutting and gouging in out of the way locations. Hypertherm’s Freedom 38 PPA is a completely autonomous, all-in-one unit that combines a powerful 125 amp plasma system with a generator and air compressor for cutting in areas without access to electricity. The Powermax30 AIR features a 30 amp plasma system and air compressor in one compact unit for ultimate portability.

This year’s show, was hels at Chicago’s McCormick Place Convention Center, takes place from November 9 to 12. Hypertherm exhibited from the center’s South hall in booth S3340, while Hypertherm partners will conducted live demonstrations of plasma, laser, and waterjet cutting from more than a dozen booth locations throughout the show. Finally, Hypertherm experts in the areas of plasma, waterjet, automation, and CAM software will presented a number of presentations as part of FABTECH’s official educational program.
